Here is an example of a wide white noise effect used in a track which seems to have no phase cancellation whatsoever. If you mono the sample the white noise shows zero phasing and sounds exactly the same in mono. Any idea's on how the hell this is done? All my attempts and techniques have left me with big wide sounds but with slight phasing.
I'm not a beginner producer. I'm aware of most widening techniques (i think) like sample delay, copying the trk, panned and eq'ing diffferently, chorus, unison etc. All leave me with slight combing issues. I'm just after this perfect white noise spread without any comb filtering or phasing.

Its only when your told the answer does it seem such a stupid question. Thanks a million. Its is just 2 seperate recordings of white noise and not one channel copied and panned hard left and hard right. The only damn thing i never tried and it should have been my first. Thank a lot for the reply

Chorus IS comb filtering. Any kind of delay between copied tracks will cause phase issues. My guess is that it's the same white noise panned hard right and left or two separate samples of white noise panned hard right and left. More likely the latter.
