The Onyx mixers are, well....mixers, not be confused with control surface (which some digital mixers can double up as). So while an Onyx can make a good front end to your Logic rig, it won't be controlling anything software wise.

kewl... that's pretty much wut i thought... wut do you suggest? i don't particularly want to make the comp the heart of my recording apparatus (i don't kno if that makes me a snob or wut) but i definitely want something that will work sorta like a control surface but that i can use in a live setting without my comp if i so choose... if it's impossible that's alright but.....................
