I would appreciate some advice regarding synch licencing songs for tv/film.

The average licencing contract for film/tv song placement require absolute clearance of any samples and/or loops used in the recording.

I have been using string sample and drum loops from cleared copyright free CD libraries in my productions what is the correct procedure for disclosing this information if one of my tracks is selected for placement. .

do I have to disclose details of the samples/loops used or am I covered by the copyright free nature of the sample libraries.

I would also like to clear up exactly what the best policy is concerning copyright of my songs before placement. should I register them officially. .I am not currently a member of PRS/ASCAP?
