Have you guys seen this? Lol. For all you drama queens out there, it sounds like there is some drama between Behringer and PreSonus lately:

Love it, healthy competition among manufacturers is good for all of us. Hopefully they both respond with even better products. I thought I might get a chance to take the X32 for a spin myself and do my own analysis, but the customer changed their mind back to the SL24. So in the meantime I will have to go by other peoples' comparisons.

Anyone else seriously considering either the X32 or SL24 should watch this [[url=http://[/URL]="http://www.youtube…"]series of X32 vs SL24 videos[/]="http://www.youtube…"]series of X32 vs SL24 videos[/] and decide which workflow they would be most comfortable with. It's a well presented, fairly even-handed, fairly thorough demo of both machines over 7 videos. I'm sure there are several omissions that both sides might point out.

You can read the YouTube comments to get an idea what he may have missed, but don't waste too much time reading the comments. In the end this will be like any other mac/pc, canon/nikon, ford/chevy fanboy debates, both are essentially the same and will get you were you want to go if you know how to use them. But whether you like the way it looks and feels in the process, will be highly subjective.

Like anything else on the internet, take it all with a grain of salt. I believe the presenter is trying his best to be completely objective, but his personal preferences do show. The fact that PreSonus decided to put the series on their YouTube channel should be a clue about how they feel they stack up - although it undermines the efforts the guy put into trying to be neutral.

There are only a handful of facts that would sway an educated consumer one way or the other - the most obvious being 24 inputs vs 32 inputs capability. The rest is largely personal preference (or in this case maybe prejudices).

I'll leave mine at the door and let you watch the videos and make up your own minds.
