I have A pair of Towers that are sufficient in the Bass and Treble region, could use some improvement in the mid-range.I do not plan on dumping a lot of money into these since they are Welton A rather cheap brand.You know... the Rent A Center distribution model. These speakers are so bright with the horn tweeter and the mids that when I dis-connect the mid-range there's no difference.

Now, call me old fashioned, or tight fisted, but is paying nearly £12,000 for a Neve eq just a tad silly?

We had this category a while back called showcase your work.
It's been a while since I presented a recording on my own and after a while commenting on others, I thought I was due to post something

For years now, all the images we see in the UK of the American president and other senior figures featured a pair of Shure SM57s on the lectern. I now see all sorts of strange microphones - so what has happened? Have Shure fallen out with the new administration?

It's not a joke, the title. As of this afternoon, I tried getting on a conference call with some friends and all they heard was slight, muffled mumbles from my end. When I got closer to the mic (having to remove the pop filter as well), my voice was ear rape.
