I've been digging into Samplitude's analog modeling suite for a few weeks now, and I can say with total confidence that it is exactly as it is described - modeling.

Hello Everybody. My Name's Tomáš Kontra and I'm Owner of Recording Studio in Slovakia. I Used old Technic and there was time to Improve it. I Bought Yamaha http://usa.Yamaha.c… MGP24x Mixpult.

I'm trying to replace a broken mono slider on my A&H wz3 16.2 and Mouser sells the ALPS RSA0N11S9A0K which seems to be identicle to the AH AI8117. I could order the AH model number through dealers like Full Compass or Spectrum but, at the risk of sounding too frugal, I really prefer to purchase from Mouser as I may decide to replace many and could save a bundle through them.

Specifically, do you insert the effect into the track directly, or do you create Aux's and then add the effect to those?

(And I'm speaking of FX only, not processing such as GR or EQ).

This is just an observation on today's DAW production, particularly in regard to track counts and editing capability.

I recall reading a post, about a year ago, where Kurt made a very timely observation; that one of the problems that occurs these days in regard to digital recording is in relation to the unlimited track counts available to the user.
