Blue Yeti to Asus Xonar STX

I'm using the Blue Yeti and I noticed a lot of hissing sound from the mic. I could use programs to filter it out, but I think it's better to solve the problem from the root. I have a good feeling the hissing sound is coming from feedback from the computer, it's plugged into the "crappy" RealTek one that's stock with most computers.

Diminishing power in my consumer electronics

Hey all, I've notice recently that at some point within the first year of use, my and even my friends, consumer electronnics power amps/speakers seem to fade or settled down a bit. Whether it so my phone, my home theater, and recently my iPad, it seems to me that it takes a couple of extra notches on the volume dial, to get bit to the comfortable level I was used to initially.

Watkins Copicat grounding

Hello everyone,

I just bought a Copicat ic300 and it has a 2 core mains wire which means it's not grounded. I've had a look around the web but can't find instruction on how to ground it. Can anyone help? is it just as simple as replacing the 2 core to 3 core and connecting the ground to the case? or is there more to it (ie, inputs need grounding)?

Thanks in advance.
