PT2399 chip alternative

Hello all,

So I've built a little angel chorus pedal using the pt2399 chip and i get a white noise that is a little too obvious. I took the chip out and the pedal is dead silent. I goggled and it turns out the pt2399 chips have a reputation for this noise. So... My question, is there an alternative quieter chip i can use?

Thanks

Help with early 1990's reel-Tape Audio Restoration (Reverb) of Vocal Speech with Izotope or AA

Forums

I've cleaned up hundreds of hours of tape recordings, admittedly the easy stuff like humm, clicks, airplanes overhead, etc. So I'm still a totally nube, but I don't even know exactly what it's called when it's like the microphone is too close to their mouth and there is a reverb harshness to each word.

Private forum

Affordable recording has created severe dilutions of grandeur along with a bunch of pussies that will never put their work on the chopping block, GS is a great example.
RO is better than this.

Should we turn the Track Talk ( for starters) into a private forum, one that the only way others can participate is if they share their work. No acceptations.

Any thoughts?

Re installing Windows OS

Something is whacked with my OS. I'm sick of trouble shooting. Time to re install the OS
I've never done this for recording computer on Windows.

Whats the best way to preserve my essential data like email, DAW etc?
All my audio files and libraries are in D/ E and F drives so no worried about this. I have 3 extra drives to drag whatever I need to get this done.
