I've heard people say that mixes come in a few sizes. One hour, six hour, one day and many days. How long does it take you to mix one three to five minute song?

Re mixing totally within Pro Tools.Although I've seen lots of posts re plugin compressors, EQ's etc. I was wondering how you consider the state of play re reverb- plugins. I'm only familiar with VST stuff,and I was dissapointed in the quality of the reverb plugins (sigh..I know I should'nt have gone there).

I have the new 5.1 version with the vocoder. Does anyone know how to proprly set it up? I have tried and tried I just can't get it to work? I have tried several suggestions and it just won't happen...I've heard people say you need a stereo channel, others say Group channel.

Anyone out there gotten any decent work done with this card? The Core 2 was my first foray into DAW music making. Talk about a trial by fire...

Is there a source for contracts on line? I am need of a standard production contract that I can edit. Could someone direct me to an online source?

I am somewhat new to the recording game. I puchased what I thought was a great mixer for the money (I am poor by most standards). All of my other studio devices operate at +4 singnal level,effects,mics recorders, accept the mixer -10? I am unable to get a hot signal into my recorders with distortion.

I'm lookin' for a nice 4 channel pre. I want something good. I'm trying to get 8 channels and I've already decided on 4 channels of GML. Oh, my MAX budget is 4k?

I have a mac g4 digi001 and DP3 I use micro xpress
as an interface. Dp3 does not see the 001 hardware
I've talked to everyone and tried much I'm sure it is something small I'm doing. someone please give me some insight. also will I have these problems when ever I get Nuendo?
