I'm thinking of purchasing a Manley stereo tube DI, anyone here have any experience with them? Also what's the best price on one?

I just purchased Reaktor 3.0(very cool)When I loaded it onto the PC it gave me the option to load all the Direct X files(which were a good chunk of space). Since I use it with Cubase I only wanted the VST files...So that's what I did.
Could I have any future problems or conflicts since I did not load the Direct X files?

Are there any headphones that you can use for mixdown purposes to get an accurate mix? I was looking at the ADG K270S but don't want to spend $240 if you can't use them to mix down.

I have heard that there are modifications possible for my SX202 Mic Preamp, e.g. making it sound better, making it possible to use with batteries and such. Has anyone here had any experiences with these? Who does those mods? Is it worth the money?

Just curious about the complete silence from Soundscape for this year. For all suggestions of 'great things to come' from Joel we still don't know anything months later. I am loathed to post my frustrations on this matter on the SS bulletin board as it seems innapropriate to upset the general positive vibe that goes down there.

Sorry but I didn't realise asking questions was against rules of this forum. A simple answer like "It must be able to work completely stand-alone without a PC" would have done. At the time of posting my original question, I didn't know the exact rules of the Invitational and was interested in finding out if SS were bothering with any form of marketing in the US.

The New Features added are pretty cool. Anybody find a place to download it in the states?

Anybody out compared the M269 and U67. From what I understand the tubes a bit brighter and the M269 has a little less distortion. My application would be primarily female vocals with sparse arrangements in a ballad context (brazillian and ambient music). I'm sure they vary from mic but I'd love to hear any user feedback on these. The elam is way out of my ballpark. thanks.

Anyone tried one of these? just curious. A friend of mine is looking for a "respectable" yet affordable front end for her DAW at home. I realized I can get these at a *very* good price but never heard one.
