This is a little too expensive for the "Sleeper" thread, but they are damn cheap compared to other tube Neumanns. Can anyone explain what these are exactly and how they compare to the more well known U series Neumanns.

I have a mix being played on FM radio tomorrow. Considering the amount of Compression/limiting that happens at FM stations, would I be better to send them a version that hasn't been compressed/limited across the mix bus ? I always do two versions of each mix - with/without mix compression.

I recently added a 2" 24 track to my studio setup that includes 32 tracks of ADAT XT as well. I currently have the ADAT I/Os and the board I/Os linked in a patchbay.

I need plain, remedial instructions on how to sync a Korg Trinity sequencer to XT20's thru a BRC.

We need to break out individual tracks of the sequencer and transfer them to the ADATS.

Also, may need to have the Trinity play back in sync with the ADATS during mixdown.

Does Radar 24 really sound better than Radar II and if so how ? - bearing in mind a decent set of converters alone would normally cost as much as the entire Radar 24 package (or does the advertised package not include everything)?

Is there any gear out there that perhaps is not as well known as others but still would be valuable to have in the studio. I mean, I would love to have a bunch of 1073's and V76's in my studio but that's not an option. What else is out there? I'm interested to hear your and everyone else's opinion.
