I've got an interesting and somewhat unexpected situation to deal with, regarding a project I'm just wrapping up.

Im wondering when, if at all, should you record tracks in stereo as opposed to recording in mono?

I recently bought Ozone 3 and I am wondering how to use the volume maximizer to the entire mix instead of just each individual track. If anyone is familiar with this program, some help would be much appreciated. By the way I am using Cubase SE for mixing.

Say you have an awesome track but there's one spot in the waveform that peaks a little, how do you handle that? Normalize?

Does anyone have a book that we can all agree is THE most important book to have on your shelf in your studio?
Not two books or three, but that one that is the Shakespear equivalent to recording arts?

So I am assuming that DC offset occurs due to processing errors. Like I am thinking now to render each separate track and try to pinpoint which tracks contribute most to the offset. I am wondering if processing a track through, like say, soundforge or wavelab is a good idea, as to remove DC offset of an individual wave file.

why is on the Major releases no CD-Text added ?

Is CD-Text unusual or are there problems within?

I`m interessted because all my custumers want this.
