I have just finished mixing and mastering a couple of my tracks for testing purposes. I need a little help here as I am trying to squeeze volume/punch out of these tracks. So far i am pretty happy with the way it sounds and even the volume/punch i got out of them is pretty good, but i need like just a little more to compete with everything thats commercial.

Hey all, trying to learn how to get my album info, Artist, track titles, cover art, etc., to show up in windows media player/itunes etc.? Is there a software I need for this?

ok hi I'm new to this...ive got a question but I'm not quite sure whether I'm in the right forum. ok my husband has got his keyboard, drum machine and bass and all that hooked up to the stereo and i wanted to hook the stereo into the pc to record what he plays...is that possible...and if it is what program do i need to dl to be able to record what he is playing?

When I record, I record the guitar where it is loud enough, but not too loud where it is fuzzy and bassy (and of course, I make sure it doesnt clip at all).

This is my first production, and it's for my band. Im a younger guy with very modern music. So if anyone has any comments on how to make it better it would be greatly appreciated.

Would a mastering engineer on any particular recording cut the bass freq at a particular Hz say :(40 Hz to 50 Hz) with a high pass filter as a "normal" or standard part of the EQ mastering process?
