Volume Problem With Condenser Microphone

I have recently bought an M-Audio Solaris and am experiencing some real problems with the output of the microphone. I am running it through a Line 6 kb37 (with 48V phantom power ON) into either POD farm and/or Studio One 2 and I am getting next to no response volume from the mic when everything is set up (track is armed and monitored).

Dead mic... What to do?

So I have a J47a that I love dearly. It died however, after sitting cold stored (-40s) for about a month in Resolute Bay, then flew here in an unpressurized twin otter. Now I am wondering what killed the mic; Cold (electrolytic capacitor?) or altitude (lack of pressure), or both? I would really like to get this mic back up and running. XLR and all is fine.

Mic and Preamp samples Regensburg Dom and lindell audio to name a few

This is not part of a mic shootout. Just a few dry clean samples for reference on the internet.

This grouping has mostly samples of the Cathedral Pipes Regensburg Dom, Neumann tlm102 mics, and the lindell audio 6x-500, Vintech 573, bla b12a, and electro harmonics 12ay7 tube pre (w/now rca tubes) preamps.

There's no compression/plugs/normalizing on any of the tracks.

Doing a Live Recording, Need Suggestions On Drum Mics

So, Im doing a small live recording in a couple weeks. When I say small, it'll be just drums, keyboards, guitar, bass, and sax. For drums, I have and AKG D112, Shure Beta 57 and Shure 57, Shure SM81, and a BeyerDynamics M 201 TG. The Drum Kit I will be recording will have a kick, snare, hi -hat, 2 toms, and cymbals.
