So I, m running out of cpu and Im gonna print the drums onto a stereo track and move on with this song.
Any tips from you guys would be appreciated. Recorded straight to 002 rack.
Im thinking the drums sound too far away,theres no room mic, and if I turn down the overheads i loose the ride.

Alright so I was getting frustration with the actual track I was working on, and decided I wanted to do something based on Resistance by Muse. So I came up with this. This is my first EVER Trance style track (So please be gentle).

Constructive criticism is always welcomed. I am using an Alesis Q49 midi controller, Nexus2, Vanguard, Massive, and Cubase to record.

I purchased the WavesNLS the other day and started putting it in some mixes. The results I found really pleasing.
( I dont have any hardware and use pro tools LE,record direct to digi 02 rack)
I used too much drive but I think between that and no drive I will find a sweet spot for my liking.

Check this intro out, sounds great to me. Like a nice mix of Nickleback and Roxette gone 2012. Love it and then dubstep barf. There are thousand songs with that same sample in it. Hard to believe it keeps being repeated. It must sound great in the clubs.

Love the vocal effect. Any idea's what is used? Got to get an Eventide H8000FW, pretty sure that would get it there..
