I just hooked up a 01v96v2 to my system. Everything is great but the 01v96 is constantly sending a midi message to cubase...I can see it pulse(like a heartbeat) on my midi meters in SX. Does anyone know of a way to turn it off...or stop it in SX. It's actually triggering my VSTi's and other midi modules.

Hi there! I’ve been experimenting with the Waves Renaissance Channel plugin , and particularly the “Push the pop master” preset. It’s a pretty simple process. First, a +2db low-shelf at 250Hz and a +4dB high-shelf at ~ 3.3KHz. The EQ stage is followed by a compressor operating over the full mix, but with the side-chain bandpass filtered at 120Hz.

Looking to buy a pair of SP C4's or AT4041's mainly for recording acoustic inst., guitar, fiddle mandolin etc. Which mic has a smoother high-endetc. I already own AT pro37r's, MXL V69m, KEL HM-1, KEL HM-4, CAD E-100, SP C1, SM57. Just looking for a different flavor of mic than I already have.

I know this has been done to death but can anyone recommend a good, loud headphone amp. Or an alternative which will provide loud headphone mixes.

We're currently using a Beh****** Powerplay HA4000, and while this is adequate and provides the amount of separate mixes we need, it never seems to be loud enough. Particularly for the doom metal clients we seem to attract.

i can get one for 450$
It says it's vintage, does this mixes worth the preamps alone?

In looking at the picture of the t00b, I can't recall the last time I saw the socket for my Fender's 12AX7's light up.

I'd like to use pre-recorded drums to trigger BFD or DFH. I know that in theory I need to convert the different drum tracks into midi notes and then route it to BFD or DFH.

I know that in Logic you can do that, but what about in Cubase SX2? Is there a free Mac plugin that will do that?

Hi, I engineer at a church that has a 50' wide stage and I was thinking of setting up a snake with two boxes. Channels 1-32 for one half of the stage and channels 1-32 for the other half.
I figure this is possible because the studio i used to work at had multiple wallboxes with the same channels.
