Finding a Software 2 Track DAT for MIXDOWNS
Forums
I am trying to find the software equivalent of a SIMPLE 2 track mixdown deck that can use SPDIF or OPTICAL and will lock to MMC, that way I can do away with using my computer as a mix-down mixer, and then use my Fostex D2424LV my Behringer DX3216 Mixer and my computer as a very simple MMC controlled wave recorder/editor.

dbx plugin or software decoding?
Forums
Hi -- I'm new to the site, so if I'm asking a question that's been asked before I apologize, and apologize if I'm asking a dumb question.
I have a dbx encoded tape from the mid-70s that I need to digitize to save. Are there any plugins or software virtual modules that will decode dbx?
Thank you in advance and thanks for the expertise!
JoeR

logic pro 7 and reason 3.3
Forums
I recently bought logic and am wrapping my head around all the many things it can do. I have Reason and have used it for years. Does anyone know that configuration to set it up in Logic. I have a stereo rewire coming into logic from reason, and that works fine, but how to I access the midi in logic to reason and vise versa. Or where can I find the information? a zillion thanx

I have a Digi 002, Pro Tools LE, Waves Gold plugins. I mainly record rock, but do other projects too.

Click Track Sounds for Pro Tools
Forums
Does anyone know where to find a variety of Click Track sounds that will work like the internal Click plugin in Pro Tools? I would prefer something with a softer attack...like a shaker. I know I can do this with midi and a drum machine, but I would like it to function like the Click plugin.

Mastering for streaming audio
Forums
Any good basic tips for doing a separate master for something that will be hosted on Myspace?
I've got our song up, and the mp3 file on my computer sounds fine. But the streaming on Myspace gives it a real 'swish-y' type quality, especially on the cymbals.
Any tips on mixing/mastering for specifically for streaming audio?

A few questions on various effects
Forums
Hello everyone!
I recently started on producing and recording music. I've been reading a lot on this (and other) forums, but a lot of the information I've gathered on things like reverb, delays and recording settings have been a bit vague. I was hoping that someone here would take the time to answer a few of the questions I have:
