I just finished replacing the tubes on my 2000e with some J.Js ECC81s--I must sayafter opening up the hood on the Seb,Im very impressed with the craftsman ship (hand built).
I havent seen "real hand soldering" in a long time.

Hey everyone, just got Cubase SX3 to run my studio, but I am having trouble switching the sample rate to 192 khz.

I'm using:
Cubase SX3
Dual Opteron 244 DAW
MOTU 192HD Interface
Mackie 1640 ONYX Mixing Board

How do these two compare as someone's only pre?

I got my Origin couple of days ago and I do love it! I'm just wondering if I did the best possible choice here...

I record mostly vocals & spoken voice, but also acoustic guitars, bass, percussion...

Kurt I know you have used both, what do you think?

Just wondering if anyone has used this and what your experience and thoughts are about it. Dislikes, likes etc. I've also heard it can make your worst sounding PA system sound like new again. Here is a link to the device

hey, i seriously dont understand this.. i record on my Cubase perfectly but when i press play to hear it i cant hear it at all.. right now the soundcard I'm using is my EMU 0404.. I'm using the RIGHT output on the back and its seriously buggin me cause i hear everything else out of it like music cause my computer is set on that as my primary soundcard..

Is it ok?

i am new to writing music... fresh blood no experience.. i can buy Sonar 3 to write dance music or is there something easier and better for me to get started with?

Thankx for the info. What I was doing with my Micro Korg was a sys ex dump then. I got an idea about how to do it then

The kid Nepro sounds come on floppies..I guess ill have to load them up on my computer...use sound diver and send em to the place in the keyboard where I want (after opening the midi export and receive channells in the keyboard).
