Yamaha NS 10m vs. . NS 10ms

I'm looking at purchasing a pair of Yamaha NS 10 speakers, however I am confused at the difference between the Original NS 10M Speakers and the NS 10MS (Studio). I have read that the tweeter was replaced, with a more 'softer' sounding tweeter? Is the woofer still that same?

What do you feel is the better of the models? Any information on these speakers if greatly appreciated.

Inexpensive hardware reverb needed

I need a cheap (<$200) hardware reverb for live acoustic guitar and voice. I just bought an Alesis Nanoverb for $50. Turned out to be WAY too cheap. Sounds not much better than the Radio Shack reverb I had in 1983.

How about the cheap Lexicon models? Sound OK? I'm not too demanding; I just need a decent Hall or Plate that doesn't sound like a tin can, man.

Thanks,

using GP9 on a 456 biased machine... Please help!

I'll record a friend next weekend and just found out that there is no 456 anymore in town, I'll have to use GP9 or cancel the session cause I can't get my machine rebiased (a fostex g24s, 1")

What will happen if i'm using the wrong tape? I'm recording something noisy, ambient, so I don't need super clean sterile sounds

any advices? thanks
