Langevin 5116-B
I've never built a copy of anything; but after scoring five Chicago Transformer BOH-2 (20K push-pull plates to 600/150, +30dBM), I'm considering a Langevin 5116-B. This is an all push-pull circuit using one 12AX7 and one 12BH7.

Litz wire
Ive been searching the forum, trying to read up on litz wire. who's the expert here on this stuff? Ive got a transformer which I think is a reichenbach which is similar in size to a 2503 and somewhat reminiscient in sound as well.

G5 Power Supply Problem
Don't really have a question, but I think the current power supply/noise problem makes for a great discussion. If anybody hasn't been keeping up on this issue, the gist is that the power supplies included with the new dual G5 power macs are so noisey they're spilling over into the analog audio outs.

SSL balancing (balancing in general too)
So I have the SSL boards, parts, and I'm going to start putting it together today, but I have to ask: What's the best way to go about unbalancing the SSL inputs/outputs?

GML 8802 op amps
Hi all,
I was rummaging around in my cellar and I found a couple of GML 8802 discrete op amps. Apparently this stuff grows down there. Anybody know if these are good for audio? I don't know anything about them.

malmac transformers?
Anybody ever hear of Malmac X10 AJ line transformers? They're 600 ohms:600 ohms and came out of an old Ampex duplicating chain recorder electronics, I think. Are they any good?
Thanks,
Seth
PS. This is all CJ's fault. I would have chucked them before.

TUBE-TECH LCA 2B
I have a TUBE-TECH LCA 2B compressor in my shop for repair with a low level spitting on the right channel. It's not the tubes, does anyone have any sheets on this unit or could hazard a guess where I might buy a schematic?
