On the 2-bus would you use the massive first or second or in the sidechain of the 2500?

I'm considering to get an RME fireface800 interface and I've just come to realize that it does not come with dedicated monitor outs. Is this considered bad? And What is the alternative output in this case?

So I picked up one of these for $25. The tape compenent is fine, it loads, plays, rewinds and does it cleanly and quietly. My problem is that when I go to record, I get a loud screaming noise. It will produce it under any recording condition, even with the recording level at 0.

Hey everyone I am new here so I don’t know if this post is even in the right thread. I am also new to recording and mixing and wish to ask a simple question. I play a game called Counter Strike Source and in it they have radio sounds that can be used while playing the game. What I am trying to do is replace them with my own.

I want to control my effects units, via a floor board pedal. I have an Eventide DSP7000, and an Eventide Eclipse. I also will be getting the Hughes & Kettner WARP X. It is midi capiable as well.

lately I've been happy with the tones I'm getting for each instrument in a track but am having trouble making them all sound as one. In other words, a lot of the times the different instruments sound like they are in different environments. Even though the tones of each instrument are good the track lacks cohesiveness. Need to put them all in one space.

Any advice?
