please help... problems with 3/4 outs on a Delta 44!
Forums
Hi... New to the forum and somewhat new to digital audio recording., I'm looking for help with an M-Audio Delta 44 card.
I want to hook up 2 pairs of speakers to the analog outs on the Delta 44 (pair of studio monitors & set of home stereo speakers), but for some reason I only get sound on the first two outputs WAVout 1/2, and no sound at all on 3/4.
Tracking Midi in Pro Tools via Mach 5
Forums
I am wondering what's the best way to tack Midi in Pro Tools via Mach 5? I have assigned a Pro Tools Midi track to an Audio track with Mach 5 as audio plugin , through which I hear Midi data and control a single Mach 5 channel, ex. channel 1.

Is it me or is kurt pushing these mics pretty hard. KF usually has pretty harsh feelings against brands that are inexpensive and "budget", and I have not once seem him qualify these with "for the money".
Does anybody have any real reviews on these mics? Are they really any good?
Thanks,
Steve

Medium/Large Format Consoles
Forums
Hey all! I'm in an interesting time right now where I may go from doing all on-location symphonic recording to actually opening a studio and recording anything and everything. I feel as though it would be to my benefit to have a console but haven't completely sold myself on the idea yet. Here are my needs:

Neumann TLM 103 vs Soundelux U195 vs Gefell M930
Forums
So this has been covered a many times in these forums, but now I'm in the position of actually having to choose one of these for a multipurpose (mostly vocals) lg diaphragm condenser- I'm familiar with the TLM 103 and how it sounds. Some folks seem to like the others more.
Recording Question
Forums
When I'm recording. . my vocals are not clipping in the analog realm. .but when I see them on my software they are exceed the tracking lanes. .in other words you don't see a sign wave you just see a red square so you can;t see the dynamics. Now on my virtual mixer, the digital wave is not clipping either.

Should I make my own cables?
Forums
Hey guys. I think I need some cables which are wirered differently than the ones I can get in the store. So I'm thinking about trying to make the cables myself. The problem is that I have almost no experience in soldering , so I'm wondering what the risks are if I try to do it? I know it will probably be time consuming, but what happens if I do a bad job?

Multi Track Recording Question
Forums
This is an Odd Question as I have no idea if it can be done.
I want to Be able to Take a Mixer / Control Surface and Each Input I have plugged into it, Record to it's Own Track in Pro-Tools or any other Software.
My idea is to have full control over everything going into the recording independently.
What would I need to do this?

JBL JRX125 mod
Forums
ok, tell me how feasable this sounds. My friend is putting together a Dj rig.
Could he get two of these, pull the bottom woofer off the x-over and amp the bottom and tops seperately using an outboard 2-way xover and a pair of RMX 2450s?
