I'm condidering using the relatively low cost Zoom H6 recorder for low frequency vibration logging. As I understand it the device as Auto rec functionality that I can trim to start the recording when levels are higher than a specified value... that's all good. but...

I recently acquired the brother of this console (exact specs) made by RCA Engineers. 24:16 with Melcors etc.
I'd love to find out additional information in regards to these consoles. They were made in 1969/70 in NYC by RCA.
There is one at the RCA Studio B in Nashville currently.

I usually work from home, and sometimes I have my children around, I normally do a lot of videoconferences and the sound of the children playing, etc totally interferes with that...

the 'stereo' field.

Im curious to know what techniques you employ for moving things -not necessarily vocals- forward and back in a mix?
