So I'm getting pretty tired of my bx5-a's, I'm not too satisfied by them.
my room is a 3x3 meters cube, with walls that are not too strong (they start shaking if I pump the volumebass too much)
so 5" would be more than enough, I have 500$ to invest in these.

Jack White recently did a record all analog (Ampex440 - some recorded at 7.5 ips!). He had it mastered at Gateway asking Bob Ludwig to not use any compression. none . nanda. the record was mastered to vinyl with a different master for hi res digital.

what do you think of that?

I am trying to fix latency issues I am having when playing VST synths.

I just did a test, recording midi with percussion controller, and simultaneously recording audio of the same performance with a mic placed next to the controller.

The results: the recorded MIDI note is always about 20 ms later than the recorded audio hit.

I got one of these puppies a while back from my brother, and had been too busy to use it. Now, I'm trying to get it going with my MacBook so I can download and edit the audio files I've recorded.

I installed the version of Cubase that comes along with the device, but it's telling me that it's expired, and will not allow me to use it.
