Help! Which of the inexpensive digital mixers is best?
Forums
I currently have an analog board and have considered buying a digital board from maybe ebay but I need help in making a decision about which board to get. I wanted to try the Behringer dd3216, a Tascam dm-24, or maybe a Yamaha o1v. Any help would be appreciated. I would spend from $1500-$2000. I have also seen a panasonic board that looks pretty good but I'm not sure how old that board is.
Mini Mac?
Forums
Hey guys. right now I'm running a really awful PC.
1.8 ghz Athlon
Windows XP Home
VIA Chipset
512 RAM
I run Cubase SX2 and my Tascam FW1884. I've been wanting to get a new computer and thought the Mini Mac was tempting.
Do you think it would be decent?

Is two tubes too much?
Forums
Hi,
New to the forum but been reading it extensively for the past couple of weeks. My mission: To purchase a Mic and Preamp.
I'm not going to ask which ones to get. Those question have been beaten to death here and I've got more than enough great info from all the posts. I just haven't made my mind up yet.

Looking for a mixer
Forums
Hello all!
Me and my band have finally decided to do a pro recording. Well the studios are too expencive plus we want to be able to record anytime we want. So now we'r looking for a mixer.
Here's what we have. Guitar, bass, 5 piece drumset (I was thinking like 3 mics for it), and a mic for the vocals.

Anyone Heard of Alan Douglas
Forums
I hope this doesn't sound like a foolish question but has anyone heard of an Engineer named Alan Douglas. He was the Engineer on Eric Claptons "From the Cradle" along with Producer Russ Titelman. This recording IMO is amazing and I have learned a lot just from listening to the details. It was recorded live at Olympic Studios, London with no overdubs or edits.

External mixer with mbox
Forums
I have an mbox and i was wondering if i can get some sort of external mixer so that i can record drums. The mbox has only 2 inputs. I do realize that i would have to mix and pan before recording which stinks. Can anyone help with which mixer to get. thanks
