Hello,
this is a noob question, but why can I not change the voices on a MIDI file played back through the Triton, but I can change them in software (i.e., In CoolEdit or HomeStudio)? I realize this is a broad question with a lot of factors, but I've done as much research as I can. Thanks for any help.

I just purchased a Boss 532 Digital Recorder. It allows me to download directly to my computer using a USB cable. If I do this and burn a CD off the computer does it matter what sound card I am using or does it bypass the sound card altogether?

I'm looking at buying a recording software package. I'm running Win2k and have seen a few programs like Cubase that only runs on XP. Why? What is the difference for audio s/w?

Can someone help me out. I've read the manual inside out on my Alesis DMPro, Drumagog, Cubase SX, and my FW1884. What I want to do is replace my recorded kick with a kick in my Alesis. It won't work not mattter what I do. I have in to out and out to in with Midi cable between my FW1884 and the Alesis. I load up Drumagog on the insert of the recorded kick and nothing.

Didn't see it coming, but I am not surprised.
