My current sound card is Gina 24 and I would like to upgrade it to a pro one which has more INs. and of course, I'd like to retain the headphone feature.

I have narrowed down my choice as follows :

i have been using cool edit for about 5 years (hip hop cats use it alot). now that i have some money i would like to know what the best sounding multitracking daw is. i dont need it to make my beats on, i use reason for that. i just want it to sound good when i record my rohdes or vocals.

I wonder if a pair of these fig 8s would be good enough for a main pair using Blumlein? Jeremy has already recommended these to me as a good SDC fig 8.

I know this topic came up already in the pro-audio section, but they were only being introduced at that stage.

I know some people love the ULS and TLII, and as many people hate them with a passion. Has anyone here tried the new ones?

Hello.I was wondering what equipment should i buy in order to record commercial spots.Lack of space and money dont allow me to buy a mixer so I'm thinking to work only with a pc.Besides a good pair of speakers-headphones and condenser mics,what else?Should i get a mixer too?What are the benefits?Im going to pay attention on getting a good soundcard for sure.Which sequencers should i prefer?Any

So, if I wanted to record 16 simultaneous tracks...I'm guessing this is one of the better ways to do it?...any comments/suggestions?

I record a piano with one sm57 mic and it come out horrable with poping and cracking. what can I use to get rid of this or just make it sound betten, also what are some good dynimac levels and eq for the violin and a piano? also whats a go in the box eq?
