allright. I'm about to record drums and stuff. i dont have any actuall recording gear besided the mixer that the mic is going to before the pc. its a mx802a Behringer mixer. i have a PG52 about and inch

Can anyone offer me some advice regarding getting a stand alone CD recorder for our new facility?

We have a budget of approximately £550 and our usual supplier has suggested a choice between the HHB830 burnit or the Marantz CDR510. We had originally wanted a Tascam CD-RW 2000 but have been told that they are now out of production.

I was reading some reviews on the BBE Sonic Maximizer plugin , and it's sounds to be so beneficial that it would be essential to me, and can't be bad if michael jackson, etc. uses it.

though, all the information i have read about this plugin comes from this product website, soooo. . I would like to hear what everyone 'round hurr's opinion is on this plugin .

I'd like to get a control surface mainly for the use of physical sliders. Does Cool Edit Pro 2.0, or Adobe Audition support anything? I'm looking into the Tascam US428. Any ideas/input?

No matter where I plug my speakers in (KRK V6 II), there's always a little "shhhhh+very low crackle" going on when I place my ears close to the tweeter. Not loud enough to get too much in the way of mixing when I'm sitting 4 feet back but still, I know it's there and when the music stops for a while, I somehow can hear it and it's starting to piss me off.

I started a Cubase 24 track audio recorder project. So far I have only used 2 channels. On channel one I have a voice audio recording coming out the left speaker. On channel two I have another voice recording but coming out of the right speaker.

How do I save this as a wav or mp3 file? Cubase only seems to let me save it as a CPR file?

Has anyone had experience with the RME ADI-8 DS 8-Channel AD/DA and Format Converter? Is it recommended and is there anything better you can recommend that's in the same price range?

Anyone try this module and if so, what did you think?
