I need to be able to edit at home or on the road...mostly comping and tuning vocals, some loop based stuff which would be taken back to the mix+ rig and up loaded. Track count isn't an issue as I'd plan on taking a abbreviated mix for reference for the comping.

Can someone help me? I noticed Mike Tholen has often praised the Quantec reverb. I assume he is talking about the Yardstick room simulator that is on their website. But does anyone know about the Quantec QRS Reverb? Apparently it is 2 in/4out and looks like a 2 rack space unit. Anyone know how it differs sonically from the Yardstick? Is it also a highly desirable piece to acquire?

I'd like to have a greater range of eq for my POD to help dial in the tones I want while tracking, and not rely so much on plugins after the fact. I was thinking of running it through a Speck ACE, or would a BOSS eq stomp box do what I need? What do y'all think?

Guys, I just thought I'd post a little note. I have FINALLY gotten my EPoX 8KHA+ motherboard, XP 1800+ and DDR to work. I wish I could tell you what did it for sure. I am fairly confident that was the most recent flash for the BIOS, which came out the second week in January. I have tested in on Win 98 & XP and it works for both.

What is Msg32.exe ? It is in the WindowsSystem folder and crashes every now and then at startup,often twice in a row.It stops Windows from loading. I can not even rename it to see what happens,Windows is using it.Or can I,how?

Is it something that Win98SE really needs?
How do I find out? Or can it be a part of some musicwise unnecessary program,got plenty of them?
