I am new here; just found your site. Doing some home studio recording for a podcast related to my work-- I've been out of Audio production for about 15 years (used to do small market FM radio); i've kept up with tehnology - somewhat.

i'm recording using Audio-Technica AT2020 mic and using PreSonus TUBEPrev2 amp and out to the Zoom H4N recorder.

I seem to be getting a humming noice in the background.

Any ideas on what could be causing this humm ?

I'm at a loss here...

10 years ago I had a Dell straight from the factory. When I plugged a guitat into a preamp and ran it into the line in on the MOBO, I was able to record audio and monitor it in real time using the Acid 4 software.

Have you guys seen this? Lol. For all you drama queens out there, it sounds like there is some drama between Behringer and PreSonus lately:

I am not in the business, I just record stuff at home, but I have noticed like on NBC, I am seeing Sennheiser (i think e945?) mics for handheld use where
before it was our trusty 58 or the Electro-Voice "hammer" mic. I was just wondering if people like Remy or whoever see this more and more? No reason for asking
other than I like learning about mics.
