Different audio interface .
Hi all sound experts ! What is the difference between a medium budget interface and a "state of the art" interface ? Is the sound so enormous better in a Prism,Apollo, Lynx for ex.
If you compare these with MOTU .RME and others for about 1500 US dollar . I am a newbei with studio stuff so I bought my MOTU UltraLite mk3 Hybrid on recommendations .

Question about Behringer X2442USB-Can't hear playback tracks while I'm recording new
Hi I’m new to the site and fairly new to recording. I use a Behringer x2442USB mixer and Cubase running on my HP Laptop. Originally I connected the mixer to the computer though USB ports for input and output form the laptop was via the headphone jack leading back to the mixer. When I would turn up the volume a bit on the mixer I would get an irritating whining sound.

INTEL I5 (ivybridge) vs. . AMD FX 8320
Intel Core i5 3470 - 3.2GHz - 1MB L2 - 6MB L3 or the AMD FX-8320 - 3.5GHz - 8MB L2 - 8MB L3
Which would you guys recommend for an audio PC. Obviously this is not a professional build. Its for my home PC, but I would like to run as plugins as possible. Plus midi.

Finally opened up my Studio!
Hi guys, my name is Daniel N. Vranic, and I have officially opened up my project studio, Praetorian Sound, for business! My motto is to never give someone a bad deal. I always work with people and clients with prices and i am very fair. I pride myself on how good my mixes sound, even though i do not use highly expensive hardware and materials.

New inexpensive setup
I always like to pass along information on new stuff I get to hear at my local Professional Audio Store that I think will aid and abet those who frequent these pages. Today its a recommendation for monitors.
