HI!

I am currently considering a new digital interface for recording.

I feel like a total dork. I was recording lead vocals for my latest soon-to-be-rejected-smash-hit. I always do multiple takes and later comp them because I'm terribly self-conscious about my own voice.

Anyway, in my foolishness I must have moved the microphone and kept on recording. So the first few takes are a neutral sound and the last few takes are trebly.

ELV compressor.
tapco graphic equalizer.
Behringer mic2200 mic preamp amp
and an amplifier

I read a great reply to a different post about upgrading to an external soundcard and I wondered if this would apply to me also if I am only recording vocals over instrumental tracks and my signal chain is mic>preamp>interface>PC USB input. The songs will be mixed by the producer, I'm only adding my vocals. I record with Cubase LE.

Maybe I'm barking up a non-existent tree however is there any way that my DAW app (Digital Performer) can send a MIDI control to a effects processor on the fly?

i'm building myself an iso cab. DON'T BACK OUT please. I'm planning on putting XLR Connector and 1/4'' connector (for speaker connection) on my iso cab. As far as soldering the XLR is concerned, i have no problem. The thing is about the 1/4''. i already have a #12AWG speaker cable that i used to conenct my Mesa Single Rectifier Rectoverb to my 4x12.

Hi there, I was wondering if I could get several opinions on what this mix needs in order to be a final mix. I know that there is too much reverb on the (very loud) vocals, and I have heard that the guitar is too loud/as well as too quiet. So I figured I would come here to get more opinions and try different things out.
