connections with Juli@ interface - balanced vs unbalanced

I guess the question should be simple:
I own a Juli@ interface from ESI, it has always been a fantastic-sounding tool, and it's got a unique feature: it lets you swap the card into two positions, RCA unbalanced I/O and TRS balanced I/O.

I just opened up my home studio this past year (2009)
Spent about 10k on remodeling a room to be used as the studio.
When I owned my commercial studio I would take remodeling construction cost depreciation on form 4562
Where do i make this deduction if I'm claiming the studio as a 'home office'?

Hi,
Before anyone says hang on you have all that gear but no idea you'd be right haha. My dad owns a big studio and he let me have that stuff to help me out but I want to do a song for him but it sounds good. Ive done loads of practice songs etc but I'm running into a problem.
