This was an article I saw the other day browsing around looking for something else. I felt there was enough basic FYI stuff to stickie it. Proper acknowledgment to the author over at Tweakheadz Lab.

Mixers...
Forums
I was considering buying a mixer for my home recording studio. What I would prefer is a mixer that would last me a couple of years, so I don't end up upgrading. My budget for mixers is around $200 and under, but if I really have to, $300. I'm new to mixers so I don't know if 200 dollars is enough to buy a good mixer.
Thanks
tp

JoeCo Blackbox to Multitrack a Live Gig?
Forums
I was scanning the web and came across the site for JoeCo. Just wondering if anyone has used one of their Blackbox Recorders to track a live performance, and if so, what the feedback was.

clearing things up
Forums
i didn't know where else to post this as there isn't a section for this kind of post like a introduction section but it's come to my attention that some people might think that I'm trying to hide something cause I'm on different forums under different names.
I'm not.lol
I'm known as fenderdog on the fender forum cause i thaught that was a fitting name.

Uke Rig
Forums
So here is my overall question:
Design your dream "electric" ukulele setup for under $1000, preferably closer to $500, considering I already have the uke and pickup, but nothing else.
I have an acoustic uke with a DiMarzio acoustic piezo pickup attached on the inside, under the bridge.
What kind of combinations would be able to come up that include the following fx?
