Recording Vocals with an Acoustic Guitar
Being primarily a solo artist I do my best singing while playing the Acoustic guitar. This creates a problem when I record as my Vocal track picks up artifacts from my guitar. In an effort to get as CLEAN a vocal track as possible I have tried Noise Gates, EQ and any other method I could think of to reduce the guitar in the vocal track.

What would be a nice lil' mic to record vocals over youtube? Maximum $100 XD. I plan to use Garage Band, so yeah...all amateur recording. Any suggestions?

Im looking for a music program thats easy to understand for vocals!
Hello everyone. I'm kind of a n00b here, but my interests are very high, so please excuse my inexperience. I don't even know if I'm in the right forum, but I'm looking for a music program that is:
A) reasonably easy to get into and understand

c) Has the capability to record my vocals

Need help recording vocals from remote artists over the internet
I could not find local talent to record with, but lots of people are in other countries with talent and who want to record. This is just hip hop sort of recording.
Anyhow, there is one artist I'm interested in.. I would like to make a whole mixtape with her, but in her city it's expected she pay for studio time and we both can't afford that.
Problem slotting vocals into a busy mix
I have intermittent vocals. The mix is essentially done (i.e., all instrumental parts) and busy, or full. I think I want to lightly duck part or all of the various tracks of the mix at the vocal parts, but in Cubase LE4, there appears to be no way to do that except automate volume on each individual track.

Vocals recorded are not as loud as they should be
Hey this is my first post and at the same time the same problem that has hunted me for years:
When I record with my mic the first thing I usually see is a line, the first thing I hear during playback...well nothing. This has made recording with my equipment impossible for the past year.

reverb on lead vocals ?
Im experimenting on some lead vocals and have 2 reverbs on buses . 1 bus has a smaller reverb which is set to
the same level throughout the song. The 2-bus has a bigger space reverb and I have been riding this one
and bringing it in on the end of some words and phrases.
Is this a standard use of reverb on lead vocals?
