Acoustic Guitar Recording Nightmare!
I am trying to record my Martin D28 through a Mackie 1604 VLZ mixer into an M-Audio Delta 44 PC interface and onto Sonar X1. Until now (Midi and other audio sources) I have had ZERO problems. That is, until I tried recording an acoustic song that I've been working on. My low "C" on my guitar (Finger picking) fills the mix with a "BONG" sound.

Monitoring issues while recording acoustic guitar
I'm having real trouble monitoring myself playing when I'm tracking.
Recording acoustic guitar with Samson G Track
Hey, I'm new to this forums, and hope someone can help me:)
I've been trying to record an acoustic guitar some time with Samson G Track (Now I know, not the best choice.) and this S/N ratio was really bad. I mean, there was lots of noise, and I could never get my signal go over (putting it's sensitivity high) -20db without sounding really hissy and noisy.
microphones to record vocals and Acoustic guitars
Hello everbody again. In the process of building my home studio, I'm into buying a good mic. I was into the AKG C 4000 B which cost 420 Euros. I run into the Neumann TLM 102, which cost 590 Euros, with the spider elastic suspension in the case just like the AKG.
Acoustic Guitar- finger noise
I recorded some acoustic and got a great result other than that high pitched string noise while sliding between some chords. It only happens in a few spots and I'd hate to record the track again. Any quick fixes?

Help mic-ing an acoustic guitar.
I have an acoustic guitar, and I'm playing a riff which consists of chords with hammer-ons and pull-offs. I have a perception 420 mic, it's not the greatest, but I can get a decent sound out of it. I also use my PreSonus channel mixer as a pre-amp, since it has a tube overdrive function. My question is, how can I get the hammer-ons and pull-offs to stand out from the the rest of the riff?

Help Choosing Mic for Acoustic Guitar
I'm looking to two-mic record an acoustic guitar. I've found a local company who will hire out microphones but I'm out of my depth when it comes to choosing from their list... If anyone with the knowledge can have a look at the hire list below and let me have some thoughts on choice and application it would be greatly appreciated...

Recording a percussive acoustic guitar
I am currently recording my own songs in my home studio. I play finger style acoustic with some rhythmic slapping with my thumb. So my guitar tracks have an obvious slapping sound throughout. It sounds cool on an acoustic recording but i am worried that when the song is fully produced (drums and all) it will just sound like noise.

Recording Vocals with an Acoustic Guitar
Being primarily a solo artist I do my best singing while playing the Acoustic guitar. This creates a problem when I record as my Vocal track picks up artifacts from my guitar. In an effort to get as CLEAN a vocal track as possible I have tried Noise Gates, EQ and any other method I could think of to reduce the guitar in the vocal track.
