Best method for recording a band - a track at a time!
Egad.. I've done the 'one-man-band' recording thing and it's not a problem (guitar, bass, keyboard, octapad drums). But now I'm trying to do a quick recording on the cheap with 3 other band members.

Mixing a MASSIVE full band entrance
Hi everyone
I'm trying to record a demo for my electronic post rock band.
The track begins with a simple keyboard loop. Seconds later, the bass and guitars enter (at the same time).
The problem I'm having is trying to make the guitars/bass entrance sound really MASSIVE.

Beginner Band Recording Set-Up
Well, first off, I want thank everybody who participates in this thread (and apologize to those who my newbness annoys).
My band has been playing together for around half a year now (folk, jazz, rock). And it would be great if we could record or sessions. Use these recordings for promotions, selling, blah blah blah.

How are profits distributed among band members?
I would think that there is one or at most two visionaries in any rock band The creative forces that actually write the songs.
How are percentages usually broken down with rock groups?
For instance I have been writing songs for 10 years and am just looking to form my first band, which I plan to sing and already have all parts to all songs on my Cubase with midi instruments.
