i wan to build a channel Neve 1073 with eq,
some my friend say that is no suitable because the real Neve sound is incomparable.
my questio is:
mounting the original transformers by carnhill,
the other components are consumer,why the sound will be incomparable?
there are a lot of constructors that sell this module.

I am about to build a rack/desk for my recording gear to complement and built in desk/bookshelf at my house. Please look at my plans and give me some suggestions. I'm not really sure about dimensions, etc. I've just tried to look at some others and draw something out.

i wanna build my own studio furniture. for example i got 3 Yamaha 02Rs..i couldn't find any shop that had a table for three of em sittin in the table...

can anyone tell me some links to shops or makers where i can see pictures and check the stuff out? i wanna get ideas...
