I've been told that ITB converters may be a better choice for high end audio now. It does make sense. What are some of the better PCI converters?

this is my first post here,
I'm going to build a new machine - i hope in one week or something like, due to the need to work again….

What are your opinions on these three compressors, and in what capacity are they used in different stages of recording?

Are their any glaring omissions of popular compressors used for specific purposes?

I am a relative newcomer to the field of recording and hope you can help with some questions I have:

If you have a few minutes to kill ... I did some messing around with some new toys and thought I share. I recently picked up an old Rega Planar2 turntable for doing vinyl transfers. My old B&O was working OK, but I REALLY wanted something that used standard cartridges.

So I did more research on interfaces with two ADAT inputs. I need this to use my S/MUX output on my Digimax FS (giving me 16@96k). I found the two that would suit me best (considering price and all): MOTU 8-Pre and PreSonus Firestudio.

I am about to buy a pair of active speakers for our rehearsal studio (18 square metres), mainly for voice and acoustic instruments to come out. (We also have drums, electric bass, sometimes guitar or keyboards but we still don't know if it would be better for all the instruments to come out of the PA speakers). I made a little research and found:
