VST multiband compressor
Hi!
I've been searching for a free vst multiband compressor plugin for some time now but can't seem to find the one I'm looking for...I'll be using it for mastering in wavelab 6 and here are the features I would like for the compressor: 4 bands, 2 settings of frequency range/band, threshold, ratio, attack and release. Main in, gain and output would also be great!

Dynamic mics and 3630 compressor
I've got a 3630 compressor that works great with my AKG C1000 condenser mic but when I use dynamic mics (e.g. CAD D10) I get nothing but hum. The dynamic mics in question all work fine when not run through the compressor. Is there some issue or something I'm neglecting with using dynamic mics?

Rayphlex 661x2 Nebula compressor programs
This is a new set of compressors I've made for Nebula. Nebula compressors have had a reputation for not really being too reliable for their compression abilities, and many people just use them for their tone and use a separate VST for compression. I think this set of comps should change that. They are based on very transparent hardware but the results still sound like analog compression.

Compressor pre or post mixer?
Hello
I have a question that may sound naive for many here.
Since I felt that I needed something to control excessive signal peaks during tracking (especially while recording vocals),
I thought a compressor was the tool I needed.
The thing I bought is an Aphex Compellor 300, that should act as compressor, limiter and leveller in an unique piece of gear.

I have a new reamp box. But how I reamp a bass to preamps and a compressor?
I bought this reamp box, it is a brand from Argentina widely used in my country.

How to use an 1176 compressor
For those of you using or curious about how to use an 1176 (hardware or plugin ), Fad Dupont http://puremix.net/… has a new video on it. As usual, this new tutorial is excellent.
edit: updated video that doesn't cost money to see.

looking for a compressor
I would like to get an external compressor to use while recording. I dont have very much experience with them but I am liking for something that does a good job without a whole lot of bells and whistles. Is it possible to buy one that can degrade the sound signal?

Busing guitars to a compressor.
If i am sending my guitars to an aux channel with a compressor plugin on via a bus should my Aux Effects channel be a stereo channel or a mono
channel? If stereo and i have 2 mono guitars should each guitar be sent on a differnet bus to the stereo Aux with compressor on and then route that Aux to the group stereo bus?
