Apogeeconverters
Hey all,
Currently running RME ad's, i have checked out the Apogeestuff and i have almost made up my mind to get something along the lines of their PSX100, was wondering what most people in the USA are using as industry standard.
I have heard Apogeestuff, sounds great to me.
But thats just my ears!
Cheers,
Sammyg

A/D Converters
I'm looking to upgrade my converters. Any suggestions.
I'm thinking about mostly 2 channel converters in the $1000 range.
Some that I have looked at:
-Lucid A/D 9624 (Several reports of something funky going on in the high-end that's not realistic.)
-Mytek Stereo96 ADC (Read one report on RAP of "sterile sounding".)

Utter confusion on Converters A/D, D/A, Clocks, aaahh
Hi, I am confused about something here, can't find the answer anywhere:
I'm looking hard at a Lynx soundcard. Easy enough right?
I have been reading posts from many boards about these, and how much people love them. Fine.
Then I start reading about people also have their Lynx cards connected to A/D converters, external clocks, D/A converters. What/why/Oh no.
Digi 002R converters vs. . delta1010
which of the 2 have better converters?
i use a 1010 right now and it sounds great.. but affter running a session at my friends studio with a digi002R.. the digi seems a little warmer. i get a cleaner upfront sound with it..
they both have very low noise floors..

Masterlink and TC M-One Converters
Hello folks,
I just bought Alesis Masterlink and am thinking about buying TC M one reverb. How would you compare quality of their A/D converters? When I don't use TC as a reverb, would it be a good idea to use it as an outboard converter?
Cheers, Marik

AD/DA Converters
I need some expert advise on the use of a AD/DA converter for PC recording. I am using an Yamaha dsp factory and am wondering if I would benefit from a converter. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

converters
I have read a lot about using an external analog to digital converter. I am recording on my hard drive using an old Yamaha DSP Factory. Would it be beneficial to make the purchase. If so, any suggestions without breaking the bank? Thanks!
