4 discrete inputs with m-audio 2496 and Cubase VST 24?

I'm trying to get four discrete inputs with my m-audio 2496 in a Mac G4 running OS9 and Cubase VST 24. I'm using the two audio ins with separate preamps, no problem. Recently I bought a used Roland VM-3100Pro digital mixer, with a digital stereo output. It does work with the 2496, but I can't figure out how to get Cubase to recognize all four ins, the two audio and the two digital.

Cubase SX 2.0 and it's compatibility w/ Pro Tools

I was reading another thread where Mark (the DAW mod) had mentioned the compatibility issues between Nuendo & Pro Tools. I think he said it was the OMF files that are usable between the two. My question is, does Cubase SX 2.0 have the same file structure as Nuendo? Or is it strictly catered to it's native foundation only?

Pro Tools and Cubase SX

I have a potential client that wants to record his drum tracks on a Pro Tools rig at a larger studio here in town, but wants to finish the project (vocals, guitar, mixing, etc.) at my studio. I use Cubase SX. Is there going to be any easy way to do this? I've never had the oportunity to use Protools, so I'm unfamiliar with the project formats.
