Nuendo vs. . Cubase
Ok...
This may be obvious to some people, but what is the difference between Nuendo and Cubase?
I'm used to reaper for multitrack recording and audition for wave editing, if that helps to correlate.

Has anyone seen Cubase Essential 4?
I think that Cubase Essential 4 might be where I want to go after I've taken Audacity as far as it goes.
One of my biggest concerns is to have a clean screen. I can't work with dark screens; especially low-contrast dark screens stuffed with tiny controls. It's like having to deal with people who mumble instead of speak. It's a pain and it makes things harder than they need to be.

setting up Cubase to be sync master/slave
Hi I'm trying to do what I used to do years ago when I had Cubase and an old atari ST. I want to use Cubase for some recorded parts and midi I also want it to trigger my fostex d108 -8 track recorder which has more audio recorded. I want one of them to be the master and the other to be the slave. It would be ideal to have the Fostex to be master as it has a remote footswitch.
