When I try to use the M-Audio ASIO driver I get Massive Crackle on playback. I can use any of the buffer settings, even the one >2000 and I still get the same crackle. The only difference is when I go down to 64 then it really gets bad. But anything above 128 is the same. If I use the "ASIO Multimedia Driver" provided in Cubase I only get a small amount of crackle and it sounds different.

In Cubase ive got everything set up. Im using G Player for effects and that works all fine when I go into Cubase and put it in on the effects channel in the mixer.
Then i click on monitor and record and i can play around get all the effects and play around the sound. and when I record it shows up as me playing. But when i play back i dont hear anything.

I just recently bought a PreSonus inspire GT. I'm very new to the equipment end of recording and am haveing problems.

I get a kinda annoying problem with my Lexicon Lambda card. If I have Cubase running, i cant play songs in winamp.
It would be nice if I could take a break and listen to some music, without exiting cubase.
Anyone knows how to do this?

I bought a Lexicon Lamda sound card with Cubase LE.
Now I have two questions:

I learned to use Cubase in school. We had Cubase SX. What is the biggest differences between the versions, you think? I only use my Cubase for home recordning and mixing. You think there's functions I'll really need that I can't find in Cubase LE?

Ive read that using rewire technology that it is possible to connect software that support rewire. Would someone assist me to how it works especially between adobe adutition and Cubase sx as the both support the technology?

Does anyone know where to find the CC #'s for the new VSTi's?(Mystic, Spector etc). I'm trying to control them with my Axiom keyboard, i want to program the knobs/sliders etc.

In the past the cc's were in the manual, i can't seem to find them.

is Cubase considered more of a mixer or preamp, and if a preamp, do you do the mixing within the program or does it require an internal mixer

I've been on SX 2.2 for a while. I never upgraded to 3 because I didn't need to. Now 4 is out and it's got some cool new stuff and I'm going to upgrade to it...when I get the cash. I was just wondering if anyone's already got it and if so, could you share your first impressions?

I remember exporting my projects to. wav file from FILE menu. But I have re-installed it and I cannot do it anymore. Its export only one channel.

How can I fix it?
