Cubase SX3 ASIO recording Latency problems AGH!

I have Cubase SX3 and I've been trying to tweak out the settings forever now, but no matter what I do it will work fine for a bit, then while recording something, it will be out of time to the click after it's recorded. I try the ASIO Multimedia driver that Cubase automatically installs but I find it to be pretty crappy, or atleast hard to get good settings.

SSL Duende plugins not loading in Cubase 4 and Wavelab 6

I have just bought and installed Duende. The Installation seems to be ok.

My problem is that Cubase 4 does not show the SSL Plugins. I recognized that I have to move the DLL's manually to the Cubase VST folder, but it did not help. I even tried different positions within the VST folder, in sub-folders and directly in the VST root folder.

Multi-core processors and Cubase/Reason

So here is the deal...

I want to get a laptop to use as a mobile DAW/electronic(midi)insturment/effects processor. I have the PreSonus Firpod and use a Cubase/Reason combo and a variety of plugins (Waves, Amplitube, etc.) to do most of my recording/production. I was wondering if it would be better to get a multi-core comp (c2d or X2) or get a single core processor.

Sync - Delta1010 and Cubase SE3

i recently got a delta1010 for christmas and then purchased Cubase se3 as my recording software. my monitoring has quite a large delay (a few seconds) from what i hear coming back to my 1604 into my headphones. when i was looking through the device setup of cubase, anytime i try to run the Simulation it says "the test was not sucessful and did not produce reliable sync information".

Cubase multiband compressor trouble

hello. I've been recording with Cubase sx2 and so far having a good time with it except for when I try to use the multiband compressor. I've been trying to use it on the stereo out channel to improve overall loudness and when I do this there is a very distinct hum which sounds like some kind of digital distorton that ends up on some of the tracks.
