So what is the general opinion of these. Live concert only or do they have validity for studios and high quality acoustic (classical whatever) concerts? Several large name players have versions-Whirlwind, Pro-Co, Aphex etc and obviously they wouldn't build them if there was no demand. Cat6 sure weighs less than multicore.

I have a question related to selling recordings and license fees.

I am considering the possibility to record my own music using a Yamaha Clavinova dig. piano and then sell the recordings online or by CDs.

HI guys, need a dual preamp with digital out for different reasons, first of all to avoid pres and AD of the Digi Mbox, 2nd to give some richness to either voice and instruments.
Due to low budget I was thinking to the Focusrite platinum twintrack or the dbx 386 or the Audient Mico
or the TL audio 5001

My interest is in making Binaural feild recordings. I have had great success using in-ear mirophones and an old min-disc recorder.
