drum mics and best setup?

are a standard set of drum mics condensor mics that need phantom power or would u be able to connect them to a standard jack socket on a mixer?

i have a Behringer mixer with 2 phantom powered XLR sockets and 4 channels that are split into mono left and right with quarter-inch jack inputs.. i was wondering what mics and setup u anyone could suggest for recording a drum kit.

Mixer for Drums - 12 XLR condenser mics & band

New here and also new at this.

I'm trying to find a mixer for drums and hopefully band as well.
Drums have 12 XLR condenser mics, all needing phantom power.
I'm thinking of 16-24 channels, but like I said, I'm brand new to mixing and I would appreciate any and all help.
It would be nice to be able to record as well, but a mix is the main thing here.

who knows what drum mic technique was used in.

just curious if anyone knows what drum Micing techniques were used by any of todays albums available in stores/heard on the radio. it seems to be the consensus with everyone i know personally(which isn't saying a whole lot where i'm at), to mic every top skin with a dynamic, a condensor over the hi hat, and a stereo pair of condensers over the cymbols. and i know about placement and all that.

the drummer set up the kit today and we tried a few Micing situations.

this is what I have :
