most likely someone has asked this but i did a search and a lot of stuff(some that didnt even go with it) showed up. but here's my question in Sonar 4 is there any way that when i go to choose an input for the track that it can just be Mic channel 1 or 2 instead of 1 and 2 in stereo ( 1 coming from the left and 2 coming from the right)?

Help!I want to expand my Tascam FW 1884 with 8 analog inputs which preferably could work under 24/96.I've been searching everywhere but couldn't find piece that suite me.Behrinnger ADA8000 is only 48 kh.

I'm trying to figure out a way to be able to monitor the signal and add eq or effects from Cubase prior to recording. I can't find the VST sends window. as it doesn't exist. Anyone have a bus system or configuration that allows this in their setup?

Im goin to sell my Fostex vf-160ex and I'm looking at what my options are for computer recording. I made the mistake of buying a stand alone unit rather than something a little more idealistic for long term recording. My plans were to hook a Berihger ultragain-8000 lightpipe up to it so i would have 8 channels there and the 4 in the back.

I'm running Logic 7 on a G5, I also have a FW-1884 and a Virus KB. My problem is that when I'm playing notes on the keyboard into the sequencer, I'm getting notes that stick or the duration of the notes are long. This only started a couple of weeks ago when I purchased my FW-1884. I would hate to go back to my previous setup since I really love the new unit.

I also purchased a IF-FW/DM FireWire Interface Card. I have been on the Tascam's website and was made to understand that DM3200 do not support the IF-FW/DM FireWire Interface Card. At least not at present

My aI'm is to use the DM3200 as an Audio interface with my PC. Via the firewire card.

Hi i'm can't get any signal tru inputs 5to 8 of my fw1884.Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem.

p.s.Input 1to 4 are working well.

:roll: :roll: :x how do I use the fw 1884 just as a control surface to get only one recording output when using logic? I've tried reinstalling the firmware but still get a dual output when recording. PLEASE HELP
