Sad news! Just upgraded Mac OS to Sierra from Snow Leopard, then PreSonus Firepod that served me right these years doesn't supported anymore (over latest OS).

So, I'm looking for a replacement, whether Audio Interface OR USB Mixer! I'm here to seeking your precious suggestions, opinions even advices!

I have PV8 mixer.. its not with built-in usb.. so if i want to connect the mixer with Cubase in laptop, first i need to connect with any audio interface.. Now i think to buy Behringer UCA202 or UCA222.. but somebody says that both Behringer UCA202 and UCA222 are usb 1.1 version.. its not usb 2.0.. due to less transfer speed of usb you will face some problem when you use with your daw..

My apologies if this is obvious to everyone I'm relatively new to recording. I have had some issues with my dynamic mics and 1/4" inputs having no high end. I have a roland octa-capture thats worked great as an interface and for some reason every time I try using 1/4 or a dynamic mic I just get a really quiet all bass muffled sound.

If I wanna Recording or Mixing with some Outboard Gears (external hardware), but I only have 2 outputs on the audio interface, this means it doesn't work? I must at least have an audio interface with 4 outputs?

hi, i'm planning on upgrading my interface and was planning on going with apollo 16 but i was reading online the sound quality is not noticeably better and for $3000 i want it to sound better than my firestudio projects.

i use logic and was wondering if maybe going Avid hardware is the way to go?

I've recently moved to Mongolia and most of my gear is in Canada. I'd like to be able to do a bit of hobby recording but don't want anything too big or expensive and am wondering if there is anything on the market that has both audio interface and headphone amplifier capability in one unit. It doesn't need to be great quality as I've got good stuff in Canada I can bring next time I visit.

Hello I'm new to the forums and just purchased some low budget equipment recently. I do mostly Hip Hop vocals and a little bit of female recording. Anyways I have an Audiobox USB Interface and a Tube MP Studio Preamp. I'm running the newest RODE NT1 through the Tube and then to the the interface through the Mic inputs/outputs.
