Roland VM-3100 mixer/RPC card with Cubase VST 24?
I've just gotten my new eBay Roland VM-3100 digital and RPC pci card (by m-audio) together and more or less running on my Mac G4, OS9. It's been a pretty steep climb for me. But I've discovered that I don't much care for the Emagic logic/rpc software that came with the package and I want to return to using Cubase VST/24.

Eurorack UB1832FX Pro Mixer Help
Hi, I'm new here so I apologize if I'm doing something wrong.
I'm a broadcasting major currently in school and I recently updated my mixer to the Eurorack UB1832FX Pro. I had a smaller Eurorack before and had it hooked up to my laptop to record things for school and other projects.

Hello all...I'm new to these parts and i have a question. I am currently using Magix software to record my music and was wondering what (if any) mixers there are out there that are compatible with this program. If anyone on here uses Magix and can tell me that would be great. Oh. also i am new to the world of midi and need to know how to use the midi in the program.

m-audio 2496 PCI vs. . Roland RPC-1 PCI w/VM-3100 mixer?
I currently have a Mac G4 with an m-audio 2496 PCI card, two ART preamps and a Roland VM-3100Pro digital mixer ($200, eBay), which I use to give me two more inputs and preamps via the digital inputs on the 2496. Everything is fine, though the VM-3100 is way too obscure for me to do anything with it besides simple mixing.

Ideal Home Studio Mixer
Hi...
I want to buy a Mixer for my home studio that will be used to record artists in the near future that is capable of achieving professional results.
Im basically after something small.. I feel that 14 channels would be enough for the time being...I'm willing to spend about 300-350 (ebay figures lol) any recommendations?

Your opinions on DM24, Ghost ect. Need mixer of some kind.
I am putting my studio back together again (kids are older now and I am younger).
I have gone DAW and like it but up until now I was doing a project at a friend's studio and just wanted to do overdubs at my place hence the minimal equipment (Mackie 1404).
Speck LiLo mixer?
Anyone tried one? Is it vaporware? Looks like it'd be a cool toy. Course, I mix in the box with Pro Tools, so what the hell do I know...

outboard mixer vs. . interface...
I'm thinking about buying new recording gear. This is strictly for recording my band, a handful of other friends, and to run an affordable portable recording system for local bands. I have one big question... When everyone talks about their outboard mixers, are they mixing down the feeds live and recording down to a stereo track?
